A team is also dedicated to the maintenance of equipment in operation at our customers' plants.

We are currently seeking a Data & AI Specialist to establish and enhance the organization’s data and AI capabilities by improving data governance, data quality, analytics, enterprise data architecture, and business process optimization. The role will leverage Microsoft Fabric as the central data platform to enable data-driven decision-making, support digital transformation initiatives, and build the foundation for future Artificial Intelligence, Microsoft Copilot, Generative AI, and Agentic AI solutions across the business.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Data & AI Specialist is responsible for assessing, organizing, governing, and optimizing enterprise data assets to maximize business value and support informed decision-making. Working closely with business and technology teams, the role helps establish a modern data culture by improving data quality, enabling advanced analytics, and preparing the organization for the effective adoption of AI technologies, including Microsoft Copilot and Agentic AI solutions.
Data Strategy & Governance
- Assess existing data sources, business processes, systems, and reporting capabilities across the organization.
- Develop and maintain a roadmap for data modernization, governance, analytics, and AI readiness.
- Establish data governance frameworks, policies, standards, and best practices for data management and ownership.
- Improve data quality, consistency, reliability, accessibility, and security across enterprise systems.
- Define data ownership, stewardship, classification, lifecycle management, and compliance requirements.
- Identify data gaps, reporting limitations, and process inefficiencies, and recommend roadmap initiatives to improve business performance and operational effectiveness.
- Promote data-driven decision-making and improve organizational data maturity.
Data Platform & Microsoft Fabric
- Lead and support the adoption of Microsoft Fabric as the organization's enterprise data platform.
- Design and optimize Microsoft Fabric environments, including OneLake, Lakehouse Architecture, Data Factory, Data Warehouse, and Real-Time Analytics.
- Develop and maintain scalable data integration, transformation, and reporting solutions.
- Consolidate and organize enterprise data sources into a centralized and governed data platform.
- Establish enterprise data models and structures that support analytics, reporting, and future AI initiatives.
- Ensure data platforms remain secure, scalable, reliable, and aligned with business objectives.
Analytics & Decision Support
- Analyze organizational data to identify trends, opportunities, risks, and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define KPIs, metrics, and reporting requirements.
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, executive scorecards, and self-service analytics solutions.
- Translate data into actionable insights that support operational, financial, and strategic decision-making.
- Recommend process improvements and optimization opportunities based on data analysis.
Artificial Intelligence & Copilot Solutions
- Design, develop, and maintain strategic Microsoft Copilot and Copilot Studio solutions that support business objectives, automate workflows, improve decision-making, and enhance operational efficiency across the organization.
- Identify opportunities to leverage Artificial Intelligence, Microsoft Copilot, and Copilot Studio across departments.
- Analyze business processes and operational pain points and recommend AI-driven solutions that improve decision-making, productivity, process efficiency, and business performance.
- Establish and maintain a roadmap for enterprise AI and Microsoft Copilot adoption, ensuring alignment with business priorities and digital transformation initiatives.
- Evaluate organizational readiness for Generative AI, Agentic AI, and AI-powered business solutions.
- Gather business requirements and assess AI use cases that deliver measurable business value.
- Design, develop, deploy, and support AI-powered solutions using Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, Microsoft Fabric, Power Platform, and related technologies.
- Evaluate and implement solutions leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs), Generative AI, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), Agentic AI, AI Agents, and Prompt Engineering techniques.
- Develop and maintain Copilot Studio agents, AI assistants, and intelligent business workflows.
- Support AI projects from requirements gathering through testing, implementation, deployment, user adoption, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure AI solutions comply with governance, cybersecurity, data privacy, and Responsible AI principles.
User Enablement & Digital Transformation
- Act as the organization's focal point for Microsoft Copilot, promoting best practices, developing departmental use cases, and maximizing the effective utilization of AI technologies across the business.
- Conduct workshops, awareness sessions, and training programs on data, analytics, Microsoft Fabric, Microsoft Copilot, and AI technologies.
- Support departments in identifying opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency, and decision-making through data and AI.
- Provide guidance and recommendations on AI adoption, process automation, and digital transformation initiatives.
- Promote AI literacy across the organization by helping users understand when, where, and how Microsoft Copilot and AI technologies can be effectively applied to improve daily operations, decision-making, and business processes.
- Drive user adoption of Microsoft Copilot and AI solutions by developing use cases, best practices, training materials, and awareness programs tailored to different departments.
- Promote organizational adoption of data-driven and AI-enabled working practices.
Continuous Improvement & Innovation
- Monitor emerging trends in Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Agentic AI, and Microsoft technologies.
- Evaluate new technologies and recommend practical applications that create business value.
- Contribute to innovation initiatives and proof-of-concept projects.
- Maintain documentation, standards, best practices, and knowledge-sharing materials.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a relevant field.
- Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
- Advanced user of MS Office.
- Occasional regional or international travel may be required.
