Our High Precision Machines business unit designs and builds advanced machine tools and manufacturing systems enabling customers to produce complex components with unmatched precision and efficiency.
Position Summary
Provide support on Turnkey Projects that involve part run-offs internal to the Fives Giddings and Lewis facility. Exercising good, independent judgment to achieve optimal results. Use advanced machining process knowledge to solve problems and produce quality products/parts.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will:
- Ability to operate Fives Giddings and Lewis Horizontal Machining Center
- Performs detailed analysis to process products/parts using information provided by CMM
- Execute turnkey/runoff applications including programming, tooling selection and fixture recommendations.
- Work with customers to resolve manufacturing problems.
- Optimize processes.
